The problem

Let dn=pn+1−pnd_n=p_{n+1}-p_n, where pnp_n is the nnth prime. Let h(x)h(x) be maximal such that for some n<xn<x the numbers dn,dn+1,…,dn+h(x)−1d_n,d_{n+1},\ldots,d_{n+h(x)-1} are all distinct. Estimate h(x)h(x). In particular, is it true that

h(x)>(log⁡x)ch(x) >(\log x)^c

for some constant c>0c>0, and

h(x)=o(log⁡x)?h(x)=o(\log x)?

Caveats

The wiki's classifications are provisional and are not a benchmark. Many Erdős problems have never had a thorough literature review, so a result that looks new may later turn out to be known; some problems were also stated ambiguously or incorrectly. See the problem page for the full discussion.
